Arotahi Com­mu­ni­ca­tions & Content Creator

Reports to: AJ (NZ General Director)
Status: Per­ma­nent (3 – 5 days per week)
Loca­tion: Auck­land or Christchurch

Primary Purpose of Role
To create and ensure quality com­mu­ni­ca­tions with and between our global teams, projects and part­ner­ships and NZ donors and churches, includ­ing resourc­ing churches with a par­tic­u­lar empha­sis on young adults.  

Major Areas of Respon­si­bil­ity
-
Regular com­mu­ni­ca­tion with sup­port­ers, pray-ers and global people and partners
-
Respond­ing to ques­tions and correspondence
-Cre­at­ing and design­ing video and written resources for churches for our annual three-week appeal
-Trav­el­ling to global sites to create video footage and per­sonal knowl­edge of key people and projects
-Being a Con­tribut­ing team player

Work Skills and Experience
Ideally the can­di­date will possess:
-Excel­lent written com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills with atten­tion to detail: lan­guage and tone 
-Facebook/Instagram native
-Ability to manage and produce con­sis­tent brand communication 
-Expe­ri­ence using Word­Press Platform
-Expe­ri­ence using Adobe Cre­ative apps: InDe­sign, Pre­miere Pro, Photoshop
(or Canva and similar replica apps) 
-An under­stand­ing of MS Office (Word, Excel, Pow­er­Point etc) and SharePoint
-Assist with pho­tog­ra­phy and videography 
-Strong organ­i­sa­tional skills and the ability to manage mul­ti­ple projects simul­ta­ne­ously
